Industrial Group (IG) UPEC is one of the biggest CIS suppliers of components, assemblies and equipment to railway, automotive, agricultural, machine-building and metallurgical industries. Among company’s customers are almost all OEMs in CIS countries.

IG UPEC was established in 1995 and now develops as client-centered engineering industrial group.

Our mission: creation and development based on engineering.

Strategy: create the process of constant perfection of designs and basic technologies based on engineering solutions.

IG UPEC areas of activity:

• Components manufacturing for railway and automotive transport: JSC “Kharkov Bearing Plant” (HARP), “Lozovsky Forging-Mechanical Plant” Ltd (LKMZ), “Ukrainian Casting Company” Ltd (UCC);
• Electrotechnics: JSC “Kharkov Electrical Engineering Plant “Ukrelectromash” (HELZ);
• Machine-tool building: JSC “Kharkov Kosior Machine-Tool Building Plant” (Harverst).

Branch divisions – automotive and railway, jointed in “UPEC Trading” Ltd, represent comprehensively HARP, LKMZ and ULK output on the market.

Railway division supplies components for locomotives and rolling stock building and maintenance to CIS enterprises and railways.

Automotive division cooperates with the leading OEM’s in production of automotive, agricultural, road-building machinery.

Electrotechnical branch supplies induction electric motors, electric pumps for general and special purposes, including borehole pumps and food choppers for livestock households. Machine-Tool Building Branch – manufacturing of roll-grinding and cylindrical grinding machines for metallurgy and other branches of industry.

IG UPEC has its own research and technology facility – design divisions in all directions of company activities and Engineering R&D-centre, which develops a wide range of fundamental and applied subjects for constant improvement of designs and base technologies, new products development.
